Poetry is a very personal baring of one's soul, the most intimate form of writing a person can do. Poetry is not usually something you choose to write; it is something you have to write. My inspiration to write poetry comes quite rarely. I recall three periods in my life when I have written most of my poems; perhaps there will be another. An asterisk following poems below indicates that they have been published.
